Are You At High Risk For Contracting H1N1?

Friday, November 6th, 2009

In the spirit of showing fairness and equality to all American workers, Chron is reporting there has been a bill introduced by the United States Representatives that would allow five days to anyone with the Swine Flu or another contagious illness.  This could mean a drastic improvement for the overall health and well-being for employees and the work place.

In the news, Reuters is reporting that there will be no vaccines offered to prisoners at Guantanamo in the immediate future. This response may have been due to the uproar from those waiting for the vaccine, believing the vaccine will improve their health.

It’s been made known that pregnant women and those with certain pre-existing health conditions are at a higher risk for have serious complications if they contract the Swine Flu, but the LA Times has recently published a risk factor many may not consider.

Apparently, obese individuals are in a risk category all of their own, becoming seemingly susceptible to serious complications if they are indeed obese.

On the positive side, Aromatics International has published some healthy and natural tips for staying healthy this flu season while taking control of your own health with natural and safe remedies and preventative measures.

As always, you need to be certain you are making the right decisions for yourself and your family, as most pharmaceutical companies have a hidden agenda when it comes to selling drugs, and just because a vaccine has been approved, doesn’t mean it really is safe for you.

H1N1 Around The Globe

Wednesday, November 4th, 2009

While as many companies as possible are trying to capitalize on the H1N1 pandemic, well, people continue get sick and reports of Swine Flu deaths continue to pour in.  If you haven’t seen the new Cocoa Krispies box, the Gothamist has it posted here and it now states that it boosts your immunity.

As a matter of fact, the LA Times is reporting that Mexico has more confirmed cases of the Swine Flu this season than in early spring when they were one of the hardest hit countries in the world.

If you’re one of the few who actually still wants the H1N1 vaccine, despite it’s potentially paralyzing ingredients, you may want to consider being shipped to Guantanamo Bay, as the Red Cross is stating that even prisoners have the right to quality health care.  Red Cross, there are now thousands of people who would disagree that the vaccine qualifies as quality health care.

Out of the 44,981 cases of H1N1 on the mainland in China, the country has just reported its seventh death related to the illness. Afghanistan and the Ukraine are taking extreme measures in trying to contain the virus by restricting travel, discouraging public gatherings and closing schools.

If you’re uncertain that a steady diet of Cocoa Krispies will do the trick, and you’re looking for an alternative means to fighting the Swine Flu, look into this, it’s healthy and natural.

Pediatricians Declare H1N1 Vaccine Unsafe

Thursday, October 29th, 2009

News reports are filtering in each day regarding death tolls from the Swine Flu.  The Chron in Texas has reported that Beaumont, TX just had a five year old die from the Swine Flu.

The LA Times has reported that Russia just had three women die from the Swine Flu – their first three casualties.

As death reports continue to top news channels and the Internet, many are clamoring for the H1N1 vaccine, in hopes of staving off illness and hopefully death.  Some, in error, have become panicky because they’ve been unable to secure the vaccination for themselves or their children.  The Washington Post is even reporting that the Obama girls have now been vaccinated.

WINK News just released a story stating that in Collier County, Florida pediatricians are refusing to sign a local letter promoting the vaccine (and especially mass vaccination of any type) because the vaccine has not been proven to be effective nor safe.  This story in itself is very telling of the situation many others find themselves in, refusing an unsafe vaccine while searching for alternative options.

What Will Be The Cost Of The Swine Flu?

Thursday, October 1st, 2009

The tension continues to rise in schools, in public gathering spots and in work places while people worry over the Swine Flu.

For many, the H1N1 virus could cause many problems.  The Small Business section of CNN Money shares the struggles that many people face if they do take sick days because of the Swine Flu.  Many who are without health insurance or any paid sick days face the problem of being able to afford going to the doctor or not getting paid for those sick days they’ve been encouraged to take.

The CDC encourages those who think they have the Swine Flu or who have a confirmed case of the Swine Flu to do the responsible thing and stay home.  But as we just covered, staying home with no paid sick days presents its own set of problems.

The LA Times reported that because of the H1N1 pandemic, the cost of closing schools and lost school time could cost the United States a projected $47 billion.

Because many trust that the Swine Flu will not kill them, not seeing a physician could be a missed opportunity to diagnose the ill patient with a secondary infection, which Reuters is reporting was likely the lethal combination for many who died from Swine Flu.
