The H1N1Vaccine: A Natural Alternative

Friday, November 13th, 2009

It’s been surprising and sometimes paralyzing to see how some are responding to the Swine Flu outbreak.  While countries such as China have been criticized for being overzealous with their protective measures, other countries such as India have most definitely underutilized the information available, and thus sacrificed lives.

In Italy, where there have now been 30 Swine Flu related deaths, Gadlings published a story with a video demonstration showing the automatic holy water dispensers now being used.

The website Drugs.com published research done by The Lancet stating that the elderly are the most likely to die from the H1N1 virus, which is not being widely reported.  Most media outlets are reporting that those under 40 years of age are the most likely to die.

As many people are doing now, Associated Content has published natural preventative herbs and supplements that can be taken to build immunity.  There are a variety of remedies being promoted but few authentic natural alternatives.

The H1N1 Vaccine And Who’s Not Getting It

Monday, November 2nd, 2009

Not surprising to many Americans, KSFY is reporting that a large quantity of the H1N1 vaccines are going unused.  While some are panicking over the possibility of contracting the H1N1 virus, we really should be frightened over the contents of a vaccine that has been deemed unsafe by physicians and healthcare workers.

Web MD has reported that Swine Flu deaths in children are rising.  Even with this in mind, many parents are still refusing the Swine Flu vaccine for their children because the side effects are unknown and it has not been tested for any length of time in humans.

Medpage Today is stating that many have been misled by reports of coincidental deaths, Guillain-Barre Syndrome and even spontaneous abortion after receiving the H1N1 vaccine, but there is no validity to the arguments vaccine proponents offer,  it’s simply wishful thinking.

The good news is that media outlets such as Ashland Daily Tidings are reporting that there have been far fewer student absences because of the H1N1 virus.

Although many parts of the country are still dealing with over crowded hospital areas treating H1N1 victims, there are several thousands of Americans who are choosing healthy alternative prevention methods instead.

Dangerous Ingredient In Swine Flu Vaccine

Tuesday, October 6th, 2009

A recent article published by Huliq News stated that due to the high risk pregnant women face from the Swine Flu, health officials are urging all pregnant women to get the Swine Flu vaccine.

An even more interesting blog reports data from various news sources stating that a main ingredient in the H1N1 vaccine is the preservative, thimerosal.  Although the CDC reports that most vaccines for children under 6 years old have trace amounts of thimerosal, but the seasonal flu vaccines and the H1N1 vaccine all have thimerosal as an ingredient.

Thimerosal is made up of 50% mercury which initially may not concern some readers, but the mercury is of the organic variety which is more dangerous than the inorganic type.

Natural News reported that Russia banned thimerosol in 1980.  Denmark, Austria, Japan, Great Britain and all Scandinavian countries have banned the preservative as well.

Considering that the Swine Flu vaccine includes such risky ingredients, pregnant women should be some of the first to be looking into alternative prevention methods.

H1N1 Vaccine: Is It Safe?

Monday, September 21st, 2009

New data and opinions are being released daily on the H1N1 vaccine.  Recently, Food Consumer published an article about the misinformation of the Gardasil vaccine.

After the Gardasil vaccine had been approved by the FDA and was made available to the public, blood clots and even some deaths were reported with a possible link to the vaccine. This brings up the concern of what makes the H1N1 vaccine safe?  This vaccine has been fast-tracked through studies and has now been approved by the FDA.

My Fox has reported that the Center for Disease Control is not approving the first release of the vaccine for pregnant women or those with immune problems.  The follow-up release of the vaccine, that which includes the killed virus, is approved for all people.   Still, concern lingers over many while they consider if the vaccine or the virus is more dangerous.

ABC News is reporting that the vaccine may be more dangerous than the virus, but everyone will have to decide for themselves if they’re willing to take the risk.

Swine Flu: There’s An App For That

Thursday, September 10th, 2009

As the Swine Flu continues to spread and more people become infected, most able countries are increasing their efforts to fight the spread of the disease.  In China, health officials are offering free vaccinations and encouraging flexible work hours for those who may be infected.

While Sweden and Norway have reported their first Swine Flu deaths, schools and public gathering spots are asking people to use caution in regards to hygiene – washing hands most pointedly and asking people with flu like symptoms to stay home.

If you own an iPhone, you can download the Swine Flu application that will alert you to nearby Swine Flu outbreaks.

While many are awaiting the H1N1 vaccine, many are uncomfortable with the possible side effects and being left still vulnerable to the virus.  Pregnant women are a large group that are being urged to get the vaccination, but trials are still being done on the vaccine.  Pregnant women are more careful than ever about what they put into their bodies, so this will be a hard sell for most.
