The Risks From The H1N1 Vaccine

Tuesday, November 17th, 2009

As the Swine Flu Vaccine gets distributed across the globe stories of mishaps, illness and death are becoming all too popular.

Time has reported that in China, two people have died after receiving the Swine Flu vaccination. One victim was a female school teacher.  Chinese officials have pulled the batch in which that particular vaccine came from and are no longer distributing vaccinations from that batch.

While some cities still find themselves dealing with long lines for people who want the H1N1 vaccine, like this Cincinnati radio sports personality and his son.  Many more individuals are looking for alternative ways to prevent the spread of the Swine Flu.

Suite 101 reports that your goal should be to boost your immune system to such a level that you can avoid illness year round.  Nobody would choose to get an illness but with the uncertainty surrounding the H1N1 virus and the high number of deaths, decreasing your risk of getting it is a good decision regardless of your current health condition.

The H1N1 Vaccine: A Physician’s Opinion

Friday, October 23rd, 2009

A rare but honest article was posted by Dr. Dana Myatt from The Wellness Club.  Dr. Myatt is a holistic doctor who has referenced many inaccuracies of those who are recommending the H1N1 vaccine.

Dr. Myatt states interestingly enough that in 1976 when nearly 200 soldiers in Fort Dix came down with the Swine Flu, a pandemic was declared, (even though the virus was contained to these soldiers in Fort Dix), a vaccine was fast-tracked and everyone was encouraged to get  the vaccine before they became “infected.”

Soon after, mass vaccination began, more than 500 cases of Guillain-Barre’ Syndrome were diagnosed and the vaccinations were quickly halted.

In 2009, many are under the impression that because of modern technology, paralysis or death would be impossible from a life-saving vaccine, but that just is not the case.  Dr. Myatt observes that with any pandemic vaccine, Guillain-Barre’ Syndrome and/or a severe allergic reaction (anaphylaxis) could very well occur.

If you’re looking for a safe alternative to the H1N1 vaccine, this is the perfect place to start, where you can get answers without risking your health or even your life by accepting a risky vaccine.

Swine Flu: And The News Gets Worse

Thursday, October 15th, 2009

Reports regarding the spread of the H1N1 virus, the vaccine and tragic virus outcomes continue to be reported each day.

The Associated Press just released a story yesterday stating that children 10 and younger may need two doses of the vaccine to become fully immune. The CDC is basing these recommendations on results from trials on a group of tested children.

Bad news continues as US News and World Report reports that those severely ill with a severe case of Swine Flu virus are at risk for developing blood clots in the lungs also known as pulmonary embolism, which of course can be deadly.

An interesting article has surfaced in The Salt Lake Tribune, stating that Utah children are at a higher risk for complications if they contract the Swine Flu virus.

For children vaccinated with Prevnar after 2000, the vaccine did not include a particular strain of pneumococcal which when combined with the Swine Flu virus can be severe.

And there is the optimistic group who continues to look toward alternative methods for prevention and treatment, disregarding a government who encourages everyone to get vaccinated with an untested cluster of ingredients and chemicals.

Swine Flu Vaccine Legal Woes

Tuesday, October 13th, 2009

As of Friday, October 9, 2009, Dr. Gary Null and New York health care workers have filed an injunction against the FDA to stop the release of the Swine Flu vaccine.  Politicol News reports that the suit states the FDA in extremely swift efforts to release the vaccine, have never proven the vaccine is safe or effective.

The claims are that the combination of the vaccine and adjuvant have never been properly or safely tested to determine the ultimate safety of the H1N1 vaccine.

Such public claims as this have only enhanced the public’s concerns over the too fast release and endorsement of the Swine Flu vaccine.

In a poll, New Jersey residents question the necessity of the vaccine.  Two-thirds of New Jersey residents state they will skip the vaccine while three-fourths said they are not worried about the Swine Flu.

WKOWTV in Wisconsin report that many are concerned that the rush to develop and manufacture the vaccine will compromise the safety of the vaccine.

While many individuals recognize the risks in getting an untested vaccine, there is no denying that the Swine Flu can be dangerous and even life threatening.  Many are still looking to alternative methods of resistance for the best and safest results.

Latest Swine Flu Reports

Wednesday, October 7th, 2009

For many cities and even states, that Swine Flu statistics cause many to worry and even some to panic.  AL recently reported the second confirmed Swine Flu death.

The STL Today states that although the reports are alarming and even one death is too many, in actuality, only 5-10% of Americans actually have the Swine Flu right now.

Both WSBTV and City Room are monitoring reactions as the H1N1 vaccines are being administered to patients.

As the virus continues to spread and the vaccine begins to trickle in and more individuals consent to vaccination, we’ll begin to hear and see more stories of those who opt out of receiving the vaccine and choose to go an alternative route.

Woodlands Online encourages anyone and everyone (whether you receive the vaccine or not) to look into ways to enhance your immune system through supplements and healthy living.

Although the Swine Flu may not be deadly for most enhancing your immune system overall is a sure fire way at healthier living.

H1N1 Vaccine: Who Can You Trust?

Thursday, October 1st, 2009

The Washington Examiner has reported that Maryland has now lost 9 people to the Swine Flu virus.   Since June of this year 198 individuals have been hospitalized with the virus.

Trak.In states that tribal people are a great risk of contracting the virus and then death because their immune systems are so weak and there are many underlying illnesses that put them at greater risk.

Interestingly enough, although reports of death continue to attract needed attention, the vaccine is becomingly increasingly unpopular because of the lack of information and testing taking place.

News Max has reported that one of the pharmaceutical companies who has manufactured an H1N1 vaccine, Baxter Pharmaceuticals, has been involved in some concerning vaccines in the past.

The first incident “occurred in 2006 when hemophiliac components were contaminated with HIV virus and injected in tens of thousands of people, including thousands of children. Baxter continued to release the HIV contaminated vaccine even after the contamination was known.”

The second incident is more recent.  A seasonal flu vaccine contained the bird flu virus.  Although disaster was averted, it continues to be concerning none the less.

As hazardous vaccines continue to be manufactured, it has become an increasing concern for those who are weighing the disease over the cure.

H1N1 Preventative Options

Tuesday, September 29th, 2009

Not only are schools and universities bracing for H1N1 illness, but now churches are as well.

Jacksonville News is reporting that local churches are handing out hand sanitizer, encouraging church members to curtail physical contact such as hand-shaking and hugging and church leaders are also encouraging those who are not feeling well to just stay home.

As the release date for the H1N1 vaccine gets closer, many are hopeful this will prevent them from getting the potentially deadly virus, but others, like Dr. Mercola are adamant that certain ingredients in the flu vaccine could spur a host of other potentially deadly or debilitating problems like autoimmune problems.

If you’re anything like Clean and Green Mom, you may be considering every option to prevent the Swine Flu virus such as keeping yourself healthy, eating well and getting plenty of rest.  You may also be looking at natural and alternative methods of resistance.

Whatever you are considering, carefully research your options because it’s your health and you can best determine what the right choices are for you.

Swine Flu Knows No Stranger, Or Does It?

Friday, September 25th, 2009

Although it would be nice to think that you are only susceptible to Swine Flu at a certain age, only in schools or even if you haven’t taken the Swine Flu vaccine, it just isn’t true.  The reality is that most people are susceptible to the H1N1 virus.

Dallas News is reporting that medical officials in the emergency rooms at local hospitals are dealing with a skyrocketing number of visits from parents with children showing symptoms of the Swine Flu.  In the past week they’re seeing an increase of 17% of the local flu.

The L.A. Times is reporting that college campuses have a rate increase of 15% for Swine Flu and Swine Flu symptoms.

In Erie County, PA it’s being reported that health workers may have the Swine Flu.  Although health workers are a group at the greatest risk of catching illnesses because of the population they work with, the vaccine is still not available to the public, so many individuals are pursuing alternative options for preventative treatment.

Because everyone is at risk of catching some illness at some point in their life, it’s important to know as much about your health and the options for treatment as possible.

Pregnant Women and H1N1

Wednesday, September 23rd, 2009

More so now than ever, pregnant women are cautious about what foods they will eat, what types of activities they engage in and what medications they will consume.

Although the FDA has approved the Swine Flu vaccine for pregnant women, many women are still concerned because the H1N1 vaccine has been tested so minimally.

As of September 3, 6% of the confirmed deaths have been pregnant women as reported by the Centers for Disease Control, so it’s understandable that pregnant women would be concerned about catching the virus.

In addition to the vaccine, many alternative methods of treatment and prevention are being publicized as well.  Hubpages recently published a lengthy list of popular homeopathic remedies for treating the Swine Flu.

While some argue that simply getting the Swine Flu vaccine is your safest bet, the data about the side effects of the vaccine is still so minimal, at best you have an entire months worth of testing to judge from.
