A sad story about an eleven year old girl from South Bend who died last month from H1N1 was recently reported on Fox28. Stories continue to surface about those who have died from the virus.
Food Consumer has published a story regarding pregnant women and the vaccine. The story states that because the vaccine has not been adequately tested on pregnant women it can never be established as safe for pregnant women in any stage of pregnancy and pregnant women should instead, stay out of public places as frequently as possible.
9 News is reporting that the mutated H1N1 virus is responsible for the death of two French occupants. The report goes on to state that this mutated version could increase the ability of the virus to affect respiratory tracts and lung tissue. We’ve already seen the original Swine Flu virus cause considerable damage in respiratory and lung health, quickly turning into pneumonia and killing thousands.
It’s especially important, now that people are spending increased amounts of time in enclosed spaces because of the colder weather, that you take care of yourself and look for any way to naturally boost your immune system.

Although we know much more about Swine Flu now than we did even 6 months ago, rumors continue to swirl as bad news regarding the virus is reported.
While, yes, the Swine Flu is considered a pandemic, the rate at which it’s spreading is why it’s considered a pandemic, not because of how lethal it is. The New York Times is reporting that the Swine Flu seems to have peaked. While medical organizations speculate this is as bad as it will get in the United States, many others believe it will peak more than once.
The Washington Post is reporting that investigations into two deaths in Norway are cause for concern that the H1N1 virus has mutated. A potential mutation could mean a more severe virus that penetrates the lungs more deeply or one which leads to a more severe case of pneumonia.
And sadly, the Washington Post has also published the sad details of a 6 year old Virginia girl who has died from the H1N1 virus. The girl, who was seemingly healthy died quickly from the virus, even after seeing a doctor earlier on.
Although, these stories are frightening, it’s important to continue utilizing natural means to strengthen your immune system to fight off all seasonal illnesses.

Reports of death and pandemic continue to flood the airways . The Examiner is reporting that in the Ukraine, they’ve had 18 Swine Flu related deaths in the past 24 hours.
With reports being published like this recent one on Breitbart, that 60% of Americans will be infected by the H1N1 virus, it’s tempting to feel helpless and at a loss.
It’s also quite disturbing to hear experts like Wolfgang Wodarg verbalize on Bild his concerns over the Swine Flu vaccine contributing to cancer.
With seemingly few answers more and more Americans are turning to natural preventative means and alternative remedies to boost their immune system and protect themselves from illness. Experts in every medical field are recommending that one of the best means of protection from the Swine Flu virus and illness year round is to boost your immune system.
While there is no cure for the flu opting for an untested vaccine could be just as deadly. Choosing to boost your system naturally is safe and effective.

With the Health Care bill still in the air, leaving many Americans on their own to figure out how they’ll get much needed medical care and often left without options because many don’t get paid sick leave, it’s more important now than ever to be proactive.
PR Newswire offers the “Ultimate Swine Flu Survival Guide.” This list is packed with sensible ideas such as extra rest and good hygiene habits but also with stellar recommendations for supplements and herbs.
While Reuters is reporting a spike In Canada’s Swine Flu related deaths Bloomberg reports an astonishing 37 deaths in just a short week.
Criminals are also taking advantage of those seeking out Tamiflu and other flu “cures.” Examiner is reporting that government officials are cracking down on those selling phony drugs and those companies who are making false claims that they have a drug that will “cure” the Swine Flu.
So, with the virus looming and many suffering at its hands it’s important to take precautions but the healthiest and safest option is to pursue natural remedies and preventative methods to build your immune system.

It’s been a long time since an illness of any variety has altered our every day lives as much as H1N1 has. Local eateries are putting hand sanitizer on the counters, average people are buying face masks and even an individual who may be showing signs of H1N1 is not welcomed in public.
Kevin MD’s blog stated that the Swine Flu virus is potentially fatal to people of all ages, so you shouldn’t consider yourself safe. Now is the perfect time to pursue healthy living in order to boost your immune system though. While you put healthy and natural substances into your body, it is better able to fight off infection and diseases, making you less susceptible to viral and bacterial illnesses going around.
Dr. Mercola reports that the H1N1 vaccine contains cancerous animal cells and this alone could increase your risk of getting cancer. In addition to the hazardous ingredients, the preservatives in the vaccine can cause worse side effects than the virus. Most people know very little about what they ingest each day and sadly this includes medicines, but don’t be in the majority – do the research and know for yourself how dangerous the H1N1 vaccine may be.

And if it hasn’t gotten bad enough, now your average Joe is getting into fist fights because of the Swine Flu. Want to know how that happened? If you would have been on a particular subway in New York City at just the right time, you would have seen it. Or you could read the full account at Business Insider.
One woman was coughing without covering her mouth on a crowded subway when another woman in the line of her coughing asked her to cover her mouth as she didn’t want the Swine Flu. This started a verbal outburst but eventually led the coughing woman to spit on the woman brave enough to make a comment in the first place. This obviously led to a physical altercation.
While reports continue regarding businesses bracing for the Swine Flu, you can find this one on Click On Detroit other businesses, especially medical facilities find that they may be under prepared for the influx of illness. With numbers reported in The Local that Germany’s new Swine Flu cases have actually doubled in just two days, it’s easy to see how hospitals may be inadequately prepared because honestly, we haven’t seen anything like this in years.
The Huffington Post cited the Chicago Tribune’s article that stated their children’s hospital which normally would have around 150 intake of sick children patients is up to 400 because of the H1N1 virus.
The same article also stated that staff absences are 16 times what they normally would be as well.
In all of this, there is good news though. As Americans are intent in fighting the virus with alternative methods and just old fashioned good hygiene, The Wall Street Journal reports that Clorox cleaning products profits have risen 23% thanks to the virus.

As many people are undecided if they should receive the Swine Flu vaccine for themselves or their children, many doctors are struggling with the same decision. In fact, the Examiner found that 60% of doctors oppose being immunized for the Swine Flu virus. More specifically, many medical professionals have expressed their concern over the fact that the safety trials for this particular vaccine were rushed.
CBS News has reported that one 27 year old pregnant woman in South Florida thought she had a cold until it turned bad so quickly and she finally discovered how deadly the H1N1 virus could be.
Aubrey Opdyke was admitted to the ICU where she spent 5 weeks in a drug induced coma. Opdyke is finally recovering, but one of the peculiar aspects of the H1N1 virus is that it causes severe complications in the lungs. For pregnant women, whose immune systems are already suppressed, this is even more dangerous, because their breathing is compromised so severely.
One medical professional’s blog states her concerns over forced vaccinations (which she opposes). Stories like this are extremely common while more people each day continue to look for alternative options for prevention.

Continuing with the chaos that has been the Swine Flu, just Friday, Swine Flu Headlines reports that President Barack Obama has declared the Swine Flu a national emergency. This, in essence, gives authorities and medical professionals more options when treating the infected and those at risks of getting the Swine Flu.
The Wall Street Journal has just released news that as of Friday, an emergency authorization was given for the experimental antiviral, Peramivir to be given those who are critically ill with the Swine Flu.
The antiviral is being produced by BioCryst Pharmaceuticals Inc. As you can see here, BioCryst has much to lose or gain if the antiviral sells well. It’s not only concerning that now the Swine Flu vaccine is experimental but so are the antivirals for treatment of those who are actually already ill. Again, more reason to look to alternative and natural methods for prevention of diseases.
Interestingly enough, the Examiner cited the respected British journal, Lancet Infectious Diseases for declaring that the antivirals Relenza and Tamiflu (commonly given to those infected with the Swine Flu) are not appropriate for adults nor for children under 12.
As always, continue to do the research yourself and get the answers you need to make healthy choices.

The Swine Flu vaccine has been attracting proponents and opponents from all over the United States. NPR reports that such celebrities are coming out acting as counterweights to the CDC’s constant push to have high risk groups vaccinated such as Bill Maher Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck.
These open opponents are unwilling to trust the government with any decisions that would affect their health and medical treatment. It’s easy to find many individuals who feel the same way. One third of Americans are worried about the side effects of the Swine Flu Vaccine. CBS News reports that even pregnant women are not keen on the idea of being used as guinea pigs for the government’s virtually untested vaccine, even though the CDC considers them a high risk group.
Because the vaccine is widely unavailable due to demand in many places some individuals are panicking especially when statistics like half of the 86 deaths in April due to Swine Flu were teenagers.
Stories such as this should continue to propel all to find alternative methods for prevention.

Reports regarding the spread of the H1N1 virus, the vaccine and tragic virus outcomes continue to be reported each day.
The Associated Press just released a story yesterday stating that children 10 and younger may need two doses of the vaccine to become fully immune. The CDC is basing these recommendations on results from trials on a group of tested children.
Bad news continues as US News and World Report reports that those severely ill with a severe case of Swine Flu virus are at risk for developing blood clots in the lungs also known as pulmonary embolism, which of course can be deadly.
An interesting article has surfaced in The Salt Lake Tribune, stating that Utah children are at a higher risk for complications if they contract the Swine Flu virus.
For children vaccinated with Prevnar after 2000, the vaccine did not include a particular strain of pneumococcal which when combined with the Swine Flu virus can be severe.
And there is the optimistic group who continues to look toward alternative methods for prevention and treatment, disregarding a government who encourages everyone to get vaccinated with an untested cluster of ingredients and chemicals.
